The Red Top Zebra (Maylandia sp. "Red Top") is a Lake Malawi mbuna. This is the albino form: the male is pinkish white with soft lilac bars, an orange-tinted dorsal fin, red eyes and bold orange egg spots on the anal fin.
He is a 12 cm male in adult color, and the last one we have. The photos show the fish for sale, in hand in the tank and on the net. We also have an albino female of a similar mbuna: Albino Red Zebra (female).
Like all mbuna, it needs hard, alkaline water, rocks with hiding places and a spirulina-based diet. The male is territorial: best with several females and alongside other mbuna in different colors.
