The Red Zebra (Maylandia estherae) is one of the most popular mbuna from Lake Malawi. This is the albino form: the female is intense orange, with orange fins and the red eyes of albino fish.

She is an adult female and the last one we have. The photos show the fish for sale, in hand in the tank and on the net. We also have an albino male of a similar mbuna: Albino Red Top Zebra (male).

Like all mbuna, it needs hard, alkaline water, rocks with hiding places and a spirulina-based diet. It is active and somewhat territorial: best in a group, one male with several females, alongside other mbuna in different colors.
